Uttar Pradesh : On the occasion of World Disability Day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister YogiAdityanath honored institutions and individuals making outstanding contributions to the welfare of persons with disabilities in a ceremony held in Lucknow. Meritorious students were also recognized and felicitated during the event. Additionally, pre-matric scholarships were distributed to students from Other Backward Classes (OBC).
The Chief Minister acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘s initiative to introduce the term “Divyang,” which respects the sentiments of persons with disabilities and inspires them to move forward with dignity.
Yogi Adityanath extended his heartfelt congratulations to all persons with disabilities and students for their achievements and contributions.
