The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Jharkhand unit staged a strong protest at the Baglamukhi Hanuman Temple near Ranchi Railway Station, condemning the arrest of #ISKCON temple’s chief priest, Chinmoy Krishna Das, in Bangladesh. The protest also highlighted alleged atrocities against the Hindu community in the neighboring country.
VHP Jharkhand Secretary Mithileshwar Mishra criticized the actions of the Bangladeshi authorities, calling them cowardly and undemocratic. He stated, “Arresting a peaceful community leader is a violation of human rights.”
Bajrang Dal State Coordinator Ranganath Mahato denounced the Bangladeshi government, terming the suppression of the Hindu community as unacceptable. VHP State President Chandrakant Raipat urged the global community to take cognizance of the situation and pressure the Bangladeshi administration for justice.
VHP Organizational Minister Devi Singh expressed dissatisfaction with the Indian government’s response, stating that the continued persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh cannot be tolerated.
The protest witnessed the participation of several senior leaders and members of VHP and Bajrang Dal. They demanded the immediate release of Chinmoy Krishna Das and called for safeguarding the rights of Hindus in Bangladesh.
