Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has announced that registrations for the Sanjivani Yojana will begin tomorrow. This healthcare initiative is aimed at benefiting all residents of Delhi aged 60 years and above, irrespective of their financial status. Notably, no income certificate is required to avail of the scheme. Both wealthy and economically disadvantaged individuals can benefit from it, with the Delhi government covering the entire cost of medical treatment.

However, the scheme is exclusively available to permanent residents of Delhi. Individuals from other states residing temporarily in Delhi without permanent address proof will not be eligible. To avail of the scheme, residents must possess valid documents such as a Delhi voter ID card, Aadhaar card, or ration card.

This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to providing equitable healthcare access for the elderly in the capital.
