Despite heavy rain and strong winds, BJP candidate from the East Assembly constituency, Purnima Sahu, continues to meet the public and party leaders. On Friday, she began her outreach campaign at the home of Tata Workers Union Vice President Shailesh Singh, receiving his blessings. She then visited various areas of the Sitaramdera division, such as Gwala Basti, Nand Nagar, and Brahman Tola, accompanied by party workers and supporters. During these visits, she met with Keshav Yadav, Gopi Saw, Jeet Bahadur Verma, Pintu Shukla, Mahavir Yadav, Mahendra Yadav, Kishun Tiwari, Mahendra Shukla, and Kishan Yadav to seek public support. Purnima also met with BJP leader Bhupendra Singh at his residence in Agrico, accepting the warm greetings of his family. Local residents admired her simplicity and humility, with many women from various households welcoming her with a traditional aarti, applying tilak, and offering flowers and garments as tokens of Goodwill



Encouraged by the overwhelming support from the public, Purnima Sahu assured people that she would restart the development projects initiated by former Chief Minister Raghubar Das with the blessings of the people. She stated, “I will not be here as a leader or legislator, but as a sister, daughter, and servant, standing with the people in every joy and sorrow.”



Purnima’s public outreach campaign extended late into the night, with a large number of BJP supporters and party workers in attendance. Meanwhile, meetings were held at Purnima Sahu’s residential office in Agrico with workers from various divisions to discuss campaign strategies. Party members actively shared their suggestions and crafted election strategies with enthusiasm for the upcoming polls.
