Bridge Collapses Before Inauguration in Silli, MLA Amit Mahato Demands Action

Jharkhand : Silli, JMM MLA Amit Mahato has raised concerns over the collapse of the Bamaldih bridge in his constituency even before its inauguration. He highlighted that two bridges have already collapsed in the region, yet the contract for the third bridge was given to the same contractor, who, according to him, should have been blacklisted.

Mahato questioned the delay in investigations, asking why the probe into previous incidents is still incomplete. He accused the government of shielding the contractor and criticized officials for allegedly misleading the administration.

In response, Minister-in-Charge Deepika Pandey Singh assured him that Chief Minister Hemant Soren is personally monitoring the issue and promised a swift investigation and action.
