Congress Hails Victory as Centre Agrees to Caste Census: Deepika Singh Pandey

Rural Development Minister Deepika Singh Pandey stated that the central government’s decision to conduct a caste-based census is the result of the Congress party’s long-standing struggle. She called it a major victory for the Congress.

Speaking in Sahibganj on Thursday, Pandey welcomed the government’s announcement but urged it to clarify when the census process will begin. She also mentioned that initiatives have already been launched to improve the condition of roads in Sahibganj.
