A CRPF jawan, identified as Nandkishore, tragically lost his life due to a gunshot injury at the CRPF camp in Tundi block headquarters, Dhanbad, on Monday morning. It remains unclear whether the incident was self-inflicted or an accident during weapon cleaning.
After sustaining the injury, Nandkishore was rushed to SNMMCH Dhanbad, where doctors declared him dead. Upon receiving the news, City SP Ajit Kumar and a police team from Saraidhela station visited the hospital to gather details. Meanwhile, authorities have begun a thorough investigation at the CRPF camp to determine the cause of the incident.
