Five Assailants Brutally Murder Man in Front of His Daughters in Gumla, Jharkhand

In a shocking incident on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, five assailants brutally murdered 36-year-old Prasad Sahu in front of his two young daughters near Pogra Digritand in Gumla district’s Raidih police station area. The attack occurred around 9:30 AM while Sahu was escorting his daughters to school. The assailants, riding on two motorcycles, intercepted Sahu and attacked him with sharp weapons, slitting his throat. Despite the daughters’ desperate pleas, the attackers showed no mercy. After the assault, two of the criminals chased the terrified girls, but they managed to escape and alert the villagers. Authorities, including Inspector Mahendra Karmali, arrived at the scene, sent Sahu’s body for post-mortem, and have initiated an investigation into the heinous crime.
