Gold Mines Being Searched in Jharkhand’s Khunti, Seraikela, and Ranchi Districts

Gold mines are being explored in the Khunti, Seraikela, and Ranchi districts of Jharkhand. The newly formed Jharkhand Exploration and Mining Corporation Limited (JEMCL) is conducting gold mine exploration in Khunti’s Ulihuruang area. Experts believe that gold mines could soon be discovered here. It is reported that the exploration work will be completed within the next two to three months. Afterward, a report will be submitted to the government along with the prepared gold mine block, and the government will initiate the auction process for extracting gold from the mine.

Gold mine exploration is also ongoing in other areas of Khunti, Seraikela, and Ranchi districts, including Pondepai, Barodatoali, and Hurungadih. JEMCL has already conducted site investigations in these locations, and sample testing is being carried out to confirm the quantity of gold present. Meanwhile, rare metal block exploration is underway in Angada, Ranchi district, and the exploration process is expected to be completed soon.
