The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), through its commercial arm NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), is set to launch the PSLV-C59/PROBA-3 mission in collaboration with the European Space Agency (ESA). The highly anticipated launch is scheduled for December 4, 2024, at 16:08 IST from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota.

This mission will place ESA’s PROBA-3 satellites, weighing approximately 550 kg, into a unique highly elliptical orbit, demonstrating PSLV’s capability for precise and complex orbital deliveries.
