Ranchi, December 13, 2024 – Sanjay Seth, MP from Ranchi and Union Minister of State for Defence, participated in the closing ceremony of the India Maritime Heritage Conclave 2024, organized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways. 

The event, held to highlight India’s rich maritime heritage and its significance in modern development, was graced by several dignitaries, including Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister for Ports, Shipping, and Waterways; Dr. S.P. Singh Baghel, Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry, and Dairying; and Prabitra Margherita, Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles. 

Addressing the conclave, Sanjay Seth emphasized the importance of India’s maritime legacy in shaping the nation’s trade, defense, and cultural exchanges. He lauded the government’s efforts to revive and promote maritime history while integrating it with the vision for a sustainable future. 

The event showcased India’s ancient naval prowess, modern advancements, and initiatives for enhancing blue economy opportunities. The conclave concluded with a pledge to strengthen India’s maritime infrastructure and contribute to global maritime collaboration.
